Dan Murphy currently holds the position College and Career Navigator for Eastern Technical High School in Baltimore County Public Schools. Additionally, Dan supervises all the CTE/Magnet career completer pathway programs at ETHS. This includes 9 different career pathways. He also supervises the Accelerated Coursework Program (SPARC) and Early College Access Program (ECAP) for Eastern Tech. Dan has been a CTE Department Chairperson for the past 7 years and has taught at ETHS for 12 years. Prior to supervising CTE Dan was a magnet teacher within the Business Management and Finance magnet program at ET. During his time at ET, he has taught in five different content areas including 18 separate courses/preps. Prior to employment in BCPS Dan started his teaching career in Anne Arundel County Public Schools at MacArthur Middle School then moving to the Special Needs program at Ruth Parker Eason School for Special Education. Dan Graduated from Stevenson University with a bachelor’s in business administration with a focus in Accountancy. He obtained his Master of Education with a focus in Educational Leadership for Goucher College. Dan holds professional teaching certifications in special education, computer science, business and finance, social studies and secondary mathematics.
