This book builds on six pillars of the classical scholarly tradition—ontology, epistemology, rhetoric, methodology, axiology, and futures studies—to systematically chart the landscape of digital humanities and orient it toward the age of artificial intelligence. It first clarifies the field’s core questions and social implications, then moves into teaching, research, and technological practice, before returning to discussions of human-centered values, ethics, and creative work. Rather than projecting a single future, the book adopts a rigorous academic perspective to mark multiple possible paths for digital humanities, helping readers make informed and responsible choices amid rapid technological change.
