COURSE TYPES:
Modern Dance for 13+ and Adults
A stationary gross motor movement beginning with thorough body warm-up leading to across the room moves prepares the student for choreography in the last half of class. At least a 10 minute cool down ensures a balance of stretch and strengthening outcomes in this class.
TIMELY TUESDAYS – Emphasis on time signature variations.
WILEY WEDNESDAYS - Experimental explorations of body expressions. Some choreography will be personally developed in sections by students as improve sections.
SIMPLE SATURDAYS – Intro level and thorough breakdown of warm-ups, across the floor exercises and choreography. Slow and smooth.
High Rep Isolations
Stationery non-weight bearing isolation exercises incorporating stretching and strengthening to great tunes makes this a fun and invigorating way to prepare yourself for the ski slope or beach. This is also a great tool for addressing any weight bearing injuries.
TIMELY TUESDAYS - The emphasis is in increasing the rep’s by 10 each lesson.
WILEY WEDNESDAYS – Max reps possible for the level of the students.
THOROUGH THURSDAYS – Emphasis on abbs. For those wanting to strengthen their core and dance technique.
YOGA STRETCH AND STRENGTH
WILEY WEDNESDAYS – Several forms of Yoga combined with high rep isolations to great tunes.
THOROUGH THURSDAYS – Vinyasa yoga targeting core strength combined with pilates exercises and high rep abdominal exercises to great tunes.
SIMPLY SATURDAY – Intro level Yin and Vinyasa Yoga combined with meditation exercises.

THOROUGH THURSDAYS - Focus on Vinyasa Yoga with Props and sustained holds.
