I would like to address the idea of seizing the moment. It is a good habit because hesitation is one of the surest ways to lose opportunity. The more moments you seize, the more opportunities arise, taking you to exactly where you want to go. If clear intention is the fuel driving manifestation, action is the vehicle carrying it forward. To manifest you must have clear intent and then act upon that intent.
Intention must have awareness and consciousness as well. They are where intention sits. Teaching only clarifies, gels and focuses intent for the learner.
This also, you can apply to moving through space.
A teacher is like a guide on the path to discovering intent. A teacher drives and witnesses the intent, which is a relationship like a conversation - what all performance is about. A conversation between the performer and the audience. The more a performer understands this relationship, the more they can manifest their intent and the clearer the conversation becomes.
This is the art of the dancer, is manifesting consciousness into space and having witness to that, which then informs the performance.
That is why improvisation is so valuable a tool for a performer, their sensitivity to the witness and other dancers is developed. Hence, the value of learning to seize the moment because nothing is more compelling than those moments on stage of manifesting and witnessing excellence in communication.
Humanity suffers and rails against our singular perceptions; it is what drives all art, all communication, all communion. If god is defined as all knowing, then one could say that all things that bring humanity into collective consciousness is a drive to the god source. We prefer to understand rather than to remain ignorant. Therefore, seize the moment. It is our opportunity to understand.
Yes and seize the moment! Register today, so that your child can understand tomorrow.
