The classroom where the majority of our classes took place.
UNIV 101 was a course that I attended during my time at the Summer Bridge Program for my S8 scholarship. I attended it every day of the week except Friday. The course name was University Studies. The main things it went over were the campus history, building locations, how certain facilities were used, etc. We took tours of the campus, exploring each building, and getting to learn about the faculty, and the resources that the university offers.
This course was useful for me, as it gave me l basic knowledge about the university, that will help me when I attend Fayetteville State University (UNCFSU) next Fall. The course gave some good advice on how to choose advisors, how to sign up for classes, and where you can go to get the help you need for practically anything. I'll be using this knowledge to hopefully get a head start, as I'll know a thing or two instead of just going in blind. Overall, UNIV 101 was a very useful course, that has helped prepare me for not only UNCFSU, but simply college in general.
