Hedwig Siewertsen is responsible for designing and implementing AGRA’s Agricultural Finance strategy which seeks to make financial services accessible and affordable to agricultural SMEs and smallholder farmers active in food crops in 11 African countries. AGRA designs, co-funds and deploys blended finance instruments, value chain finance and digital finance products, through technical assistance and acceleration funds. Prior to coming to AGRA, Hedwig was CEO of DOB equity, an impact investment fund and Deputy Director and senior consultant in Triodos Facet (now Palladium). Since 2014, she is the Chairperson of DGGF’s Seed Capital and Business Development Fund Committee.
