) in Dependable System Laboratory. She tackled with Swarm Robotics.

Jion Hirose, a Ph.D candidate, et al. received PDAA (International Workshop on Parallel and Distributed Algorithms and Applications) Best Paper Award in November 2022.

Jion Hirose, a Ph.D candidate, gave oral and poster presentations at Emergent Leading-Edge Researchers Symposium 2022 on October 7, 2022. Emergent Leading-Edge Researchers Symposium is held as part of the Emergent Leading-Edge Researchers Development, one of Nara Institute of Science and Technology's support programs for doctoral students.

Haruki Chaen, a Master's course student, gave a presentation entitled  "Self-stabilizing algorithm for extended maximal p-star partitioning" at the 18th Workshop on Theoretical Computer Science in Kobe, September 12 - 13, 2022. 

A student from National Institute of Technology (KOSEN), Nara College joined an internship program at Dependable System Laboratory for 2 weeks in September 2022. 

He learned synchronization algorithms in swarm robots, which mimic the spiking of brain neurons, and implemented the synchronization algorithm with Kilobots.

Two SSH students joined an internship program at Dependable System Laboratory for 3 days in August 2022.
