Objectives: European schools are immersed in a digitalisation process encompassing the goal to educate students in digital citizenship, which can be described as the set of necessary skills to "work, live, and share in digital environments in a positive way." The partners of this proposal are 4 secondary schools in 4 different European countries aiming to enhance their digitalisation processes by fostering the digital skills of their students in a context of transnational cooperation.
Activities: In the fields of energy saving, digital safety and well-being, and Artificial Intelligence, we intend to develop teaching resources and carry out teaching activities in a collaborative way to foster the skills of our students as digital citizens in accordance to the Digital Competence Framework (DigComp Framework) launched by the European Commision, whose key components are information and data literacy, communication and collaboration, digital content creation, safety, and problem solving,
Impact: We plan to produce a web site with didactic proposals and lesson plans on digital citizenship. We expect to support the purposeful use of digital technologies in our organisations by enhancing cross-curricular cooperation for the development of key digital skills such as communication, collaboration, and critical thinking, including the sensible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a learning tool. We also expect to internationalise our schools in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme.
