Camp Traditions

Theme Days

This could change as we are "youth lead" and this is decided on by our PA & PAL's

We will have this updated as we get closer to camp, but this is a good example of our theme week!

Monday - Unit Color Day! Enter with enthusiasm, come with your courage, and free your fearlessness! Your PAL's & Unit Leaders will help make your unit wonderful and colorful to match your unit color and possibly the theme! Feel free to bring items to help decorate your unit as this will be where you'll most likely spend your down time.  Please no paper (it gets wet) and no balloons (Latex allergies)

Tuesday - Tutu - Tie - Tiara! Come one come all, come dressed in your tutu, tie, tiara or all three!

Wednesday - Wacky Hair Day! Remember, it must be pully-back-able-y for safely during Fires and Cooking!

Thursday - Twinsies! Come to camp ready to match your pals! Bonus: Bring extra to include others!

Friday - Pajama Bottoms + Camp T-Shirt Day! Wear your favorite PJ bottoms but don't forget your camp shirt!

Announcements Song!

Listen closely...Did you hear that?... Did one of them say the word, *Announcement* "?" Maybe not. More likely they said, "Important Information," "Delightful Details," or "Significant Statements!"

But if they make a marvelous mistake and announce "Announcements!" from the center of the stage, the audience must boisterously belt the Announcements Song!

"Announcements, Announcements, Announcements!"

"You better listen up! You better listen up!"

"You better listen up, if you wanna know what's up!"

"Announcements, Announcements, Announcements!"

The history? Pure ridiculousness. Where one thing leads to another and soon we find ourselves forgetting how it started!
