Call for Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership Applications 1st Joint Staff Training

We are happy to announce first SHORT-TERM JOINT STAFF TRAINING EVENT within the Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership DANUBIAN SMCs

This first short-term joint staff training event aims at connecting university staff of the participating organizations in an exchange of experiences, which will include elaboration of the teaching methods and formats in the field of inclusive development in small and medium-sized Danubian cities, lead to achieving new theoretical methods and guidelines through an innovative and cross-disciplinary body of knowledge and make it possible to adapt to the complex changes in the actual post-industrial SMCs along Danube. According to their profile, participants will acquire an active role in developing their educational resources using intelligent methodologies and formats. This collaborative process of creating the teaching material will allow to register the common problems within the SMCs and to bring on appropriate solutions.

DANUBIAN_SMCS conditions

This call is addressed to the staff members from the DANUBIAN_SMCS full partners. The eligible DABUBIAN_SMCs participation is 3 full days (excluding travel days) + contribution to the DABUBIAN_SMCs outputs materials. The accepted applicants get Erasmus+ travel support according to the Erasmus+ regulations and approved project grants (except in the case of the staff from the host).

Target group

Participants involved in this event will be active in other project activities in order to get an input by preparing the teaching materials, tasks for the students, and the fial outputs. In addition, there will be also participation in the post—processing Intensive Program at the home universities, by evaluating the teaching laboratories, will give feedback about the impact of the project activities by filling the project questionnaire after the event and will submit the reviewing/reporting materials, following the instructions of the DANUBIAN_SMCs contact at your institution. The grant holder will submit the travel documentation to the faculty.

Eligibility

A successful applicant should be:

  • involved in teaching of theoretical and / or practical disciplines related to development of the built environment

  • interested in innovation in university education

  • capable of trans & cross disciplinary approaches

  • concerned about the inclusive and balanced development of the Danube corridor

  • sensitive to the problems, particularities and opportunities for the development of small and medium-sized cities

Expected results

  • teaching material based on the real problems/situations, which will be tested during the planned teaching laboratory

  • a common approach (a tool for teachers) for interdisciplinary teaching: new teaching methods

  • underline the innovation, regional specificities in built environment teaching methods and formats

  • methodological framework, which will be implemented in the three Intensive programs for higher education learners (structure of a teaching module week)

Procedure

Send your CV to your university DANUBIAN_SMCs contact according to you university calendar call. Each DANUBIAN_SMcs Consortium institution will select four most motivated eligible candidates. The selection is based on the sending institution proposal. A reserve list will be created.
