M4: CLOSING MEETING IN BUDAPEST

The 4th Transnational Project Meetings comes as an extra addition to the series of TPMs and marked the very end of the DANUBIAN_SMCs project, wich complete the extra multiplier event. The importance of the meeting lies in the fact that the discussions were directed towards assurance of the sustainability, valorization of the project results and multiplier events evaluation. Furthermore, the possibility of future joint developments stemming from the cooperation of the project partners with other actors from academia, local stakeholders, NGOs, and various professionals in the Danube Region was debated extensively. Project partners arrived at the conclusion that the work that had been done for since the start of the project should and must continue. 

MAIN ITEMS OF THE AGENDA:

Day 1 (venue: Silverline Cruise boat on the Danube docked at Batthyány Square in Budapest)

Welcome and synergy meeting with the representatives of the Interreg Danube Transnational Programme DANUrB+ project (a research project on the inclusive cities of the Danube Region that complete a special focus on small and medium-sized cities that have direct access to the Danube River)

Day 2 (venue: Library of the Department of Urban Planning and Design at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics in Budapest)
