Thank you for your interest in volunteering at District 30 Summer School! Volunteering in District 30's summer school provides wonderful learning experiences that can be beneficial in high school clubs, awards, and honor groups, college applications, resumés, etc..
Who Can Volunteer?
High school and college students who have an interest in pursuing careers in education.
Dates & Time Commitment
The D30 Summer School Program will be held at Maple School for five weeks, five days a week with classes running from 8:30am-12:25pm daily. See below for special dates and times:
Monday, June 10th: Summer School Volunteer Orientation (11:00-11:45am)
Tuesday, June 11th: First day of Summer School
Wednesday, June 19: No Summer School
Thursday & Friday, July 4th-5th: No Summer School
Friday, July 12th: Last Day of Summer School
All volunteers must attend an orientation before starting summer school on Monday, June 10th from 11-11:45am. Schedules will be handed out at the orientation and verification letters of hours completed will be made available on the last day of summer school.
Criteria for Selection
1. Response(s) to essay question
Be professional in your writing; have an adult proofread your work.
2. Recommendation from a current teacher
Please ask the teacher before submitting their name.
3. Committed to the full five-week program
