Scene 6: Llyan

In the next scene, our cauldron passes through the cave of Llyan the Mountain Cat, a massive cat and the second largest animatronic in the attraction (behind the Gwythaint). Llyan has captured Taran, Eilonwy, Ffleuder Fflam and Gurgi, and is incredibly defensive over them. While Gurgi accepts that he is going to die, Eilonwy assures her friends that their must be another way out. That's when Ffleuder Fflam says that he is not afraid and his lyre's string breaks.

The sound of the string attracts Llyan's attention, leading Ffleuder Fflam to begin strumming his lyre and singing an original song titled Llyan the Mountain Cat. This begins to sooth the cat who then closes its eyes and falls asleep to the melodious strumming of Ffleuder Fflam. With this, the heroes are able to escape the domain of the Mountain Cat.

Eilonwy: Ffleuder, she likes your string! Play her a song.

Ffleuder Fflam: But.. but... What song shall I play?

Eilonwy: Anything, but you must hurry!

Ffleuder Fflam: Oh, um... *Singing* This is the ballad of Llyan, Llyan the Mountain Cat... (His voice drones off as we pass through the scene.)

[Second part of the scene]

Eilonwy: Oh good, she's asleep. Now, we must go quickly.

Taran: Yes, Eilonwy, come with me.
