Scene 13: Horned King's Demise

Taran swings his sword towards the Horned King, causing the magic to glow as his sword shoots out magic and slays the Horned King. The Horned King begins to scream, but it's too late as he begins to glow and disappear. With the magic sword, Taran stands triumphantly atop the Horned King's Throne as the battle sounds outside come to an end.

Through the windows (behind the cauldrons) the sun begins to shine, filling the shadowy room with light as Taran stands triumphantly over his foe. He then sits down on the throne, taking his place as King of Prydain.
