Scene 11: Epic Battle

The cauldron passes through the longest scene in the attraction. Here, every second you pass through a different battle taking place. From wolves fighting Cauldron-Born to Llyan the Mountain Cat being ridden by Ffleuder Fflam and Princess Eilonwy, to Taran on the front lines slicing through Cauldron Born.

The music in this room swells up as the epic battle takes place. As we wind through the room, we see the hero's army approaching the castle and enter through where we see the Horned King and Arawan standing, controlling their Cauldron-Born army to continue their attack.

Outside, the clashing of metal, howling of wolves, and sounds of the battle outside echo as Taran confronts the Horned King. The Horned King has two Cauldron-Born capture Taran and hold him down as he tells him he has lost. However, in the back, we see an animatronic of Creeper looking guilty as Taran is held down by the skeletons. Creeper begins to inch closer to the Black Cauldron.

Horned King: Boy! You have defeated me once, but today, today I have something you do not! Today I have an army. No amount of woodland creatures and fairies can defeat my cauldron born, and with the cauldron safely with me, no unnecessary sacrifices will be made this time.

Taran: Let me go!

Horned King: Or what? You'll sick your dog on us! Ha! You have failed Taran of Prydain, and now it is time for you to die!
