We return to the castle where a hooded figure stands alongside the Black Cauldron. The hood falls back to reveal Creeper, the former henchman of the Horned King before his demise.
Creeper utilizes the cauldron to bring back his former master, and, with a puff of smoke and plenty of music, the omnious voice of the Horned King is heard. When the smoke clears, The Horned King is seen, once again sitting on his throne.
Horned King: Creeper, my faithful servent, you have done well. Now that I have returned, I can faithfully complete my plan and bring back King Arawan and rule Prydain with my Cauldron Born Army.
Creeper: Master, don't you think that ruling by yourself without some ancient king would be easier?
Horned King: Do you speak to me like this Creeper? King Arawan is the Lord of Death, the only entity in all of Prydain who can faithfully lead my Cauldron-Born Army. Now, fetch my men, we have work to do.
