How to we keep our Scouts safe?
All Scouting for Food Activities will be done under adult supervision, including handing- out door hangers, food pickup, and delivering donations.
Families that raise donations outside of the Commonwealth activities are also required to follow Scouting's 2-deap leadership model.
Where do the donations go?
We will give all donations to the East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry Inc.
You can learn about them here: East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry
Who will ultimately receive the food we raise?
The East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry Food Pantry serves all east Fort Bend County residents, which includes residents living in Fort Bend Independent and Stafford Municipal School Districts. We have been feeding families in need since 1990.
Who is eligible for food help?
Families and individuals living in our community who are in need of food! No local resident is turned away empty-handed. Those not living in our service area are given a one-time supplemental order and referred to a food pantry near their home.
