This is a working calendar for all Pack events throughout the 2023-2024 Scouting year. Underlined text are links to additional information. The calendar is subject to adjustment as circumstances require.
In addition to these Pack events, each Rank/Grade level will have a specific Den meeting each month.
August
Our Pack will have a small booth at Commonwealth and Austin Parkway Elementary during the Meet-the-Teacher events at each school. This is to provide information to potential new scouts, answer questions and direct families how to join out Pack!
Informal Pack Park and Swim Day (10:30 am Sat, Aug 19th)
Just an informal time for the Pack to get together and to let interested new families meet us and ask questions. We will meet at the Commonwealth Community Park and Pool at 10:30 to have some summer fun!

September
The firs pack meeting of the Scouting year will be in the teacher's parking lot of Commonwealth Elementary. We will be building and racing Rain Gutter boats!
Bobcat Day (Sept 30 8am-Noon)
This is a fun activity for new Scouts and their Parents. Scouts will be earning their first Scout badge by learning the Scout Oath, Law and Handshake, and parents we will provide more information to parents about what to expect for the Scouting year and how you can help make it an awesome time. This is an event hosted by the District and will include cub scouts from the larger area. Meet at Kitty Hollow Park (9555 Hwy 6, Missouri City)
October
Scouting for Food (6-7pm Tues, Oct 10th)
We will meet in the Commonwealth Elementary parking lot before canvasing the area, knocking on doors to hand out door-hangers to raise food donations for the East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry. We will pick up donations before the Pack meeting on Oct 17th.
Pack Meeting (6:30 -8pm, Tues Oct 17th)
Our October Pack meeting will be back at Commonwealth Elementary from 6:30-8pm.
Please wear Class A (button-up) uniforms if you can.
November
Webelos Coyote Trail Campout (Fri-Sun, Nov 10-12th)
This is a district hosted campout for Webelos; 4th & 5th graders at Bovay Scout Ranch. The cost is $115 per Scout, which includes four meals, a patch, t-shirt, water bottle and program supplies. Adult cost is $40 per adult and includes four meals.

Pack Meeting & Rank Rodeo (6:30-8pm, Thursday Nov 16th)
Our Pack meeting is moved up to the second Tuesday of the month in November to accommodate the fall school holiday. We will meet at Commonwealth Elementary and have several activities focused on

Pack Adventure Campout (Fri-Sun, Dec 1-3rd)
This is an Area Council hosted Pack Campout at Bovay Scout Ranch!
Pack meeting will at Commonwealth Elementary. We will be handing out Pinewood Derby car kits to all Scouts.
We are arranging an opportunity for our Scouts to volunteer at a local food bank, where we will be helping to package donations and helping to distribute to families in need.
January
This is an optional meet up to get assistance building your Pinewood Derby cars! We will have Scout Leaders ready to assist with power tools, hand tools and paints. Everything you need to get ready for Race Day on Jan 20th. Meet at from 9am to Noon at 4606 Warwick Court.
Pine Wood Derby Turn in & Testing (Tues, Jan 16th)
Come and go between 5:30-7:30pm
This is a day to turn in your Pinewood Derby cars before the race. We will measure and weigh cars to ensure they meet standards and assign numbers ahead of the race. We also plan on having a test track setup to assist with any last-minute adjustments. Pack Leaders will be accepting cars from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at 4606 Warwick Court.
Pack Meeting & Pine Wood Derby !!!!! (Sat, Jan 27th)
4:30-6:30pm
Our famous race day! Scouts race the cars they built earlier in the month. Adults and Siblings are welcome to participate as well! At Commonwealth Elementary from 4:30-6:30pm!
February
Overnight on the USS Lexington (Sat-Sun, Feb 17-18th)
We will be staying overnight on Aircraft Carrier USS Lexington in Corpus Cristi. The Cost is $75 per person.

Pack Meeting & Blue & Gold Banquet (6:30pm Tues, Feb 21st)
At Commonwealth Elementary. We will have Cake-o-rama decorating competition!
March
Trash Bash (Sat, Mar 2nd; 10am-12pm)
This is one of our annual service projects where we get to give back to our community. We will meet at Buffalo Run Park to clean up trash and have a little fun.
Come spend the night at the Houston Zoo with our Pack!
April
Brazos Bend Spring Camp Out (April 28-30)
Our last Pack Campout of the year will be at Brazos Bend Park. This is for families and siblings, with a cost of $20 per person to cover campsite fees and food. Scouts will go on hikes, prepare their own meals and participate in activities to help with Rank Advancement.

Cub Scout Adventure Day (TBD)
This is a District hosted event for all Scouts. Details will be updated once provided by the district.
May
Our May Pack meeting will be focused on closing out all Rank requirements to ensure our Scouts achieve their next rank by the end of the Scouting year.

Police or Fire Station Visit (TBD)
A great learning opportunity where Sugarland FD or PD will provide a tour of their station, show us the tools of their trade and share stories of what a day in the job is like.

This is a Council hosted overnight, weeklong camp for newly graduated Webelos (4th and 5th Graders).
