The Crescent Theatre, formerly known as Clayton State Theatre, is home to many of the Theater department performances. The theatre was renovated in 2019 as part of the $14.96 million Academic Core Renovation project. The renovation included the addition of a lobby and entrance space, new lighting, new seating, an extension of the stage, a green room, and a catwalk for actors and crew.
