Project Description: During this project I had to create my own image and explore all different types of media. I had to collect all of these types of media while crediting them properly.

This is a photo I put together. The flower is El Salvador's national flower. Its name is Flor de izote. Since it's El Salvador's national flower I decided to put images of the flag behind it. The quote that I chose is "Nada es absoluto. Todo cambia, todo se mueve, todo gira, todo vuela, y se va" -Frida Kahlo. This quote is important to me. It translates to "Nothing is absolute. Everything changes, everything moves, everything spins, everything flies, and goes away." My Spanish teacher gave me this quote to carry with me throughout life. Although Frida Kahlo is a Mexican woman, and it may not connect to El Salvador to others, for me it does. This is because when I first started learning Spanish everyone I knew was from El Salvador, including my boyfriend, and I just feel in love with the country since I loved the language.
This audio sample is called Mexican Mariachi Shout 7. I chose this sound because it goes along with my theme of my love for Spanish. Although most of my influence is Salvadoran, at the beginning of this semester I met a Mexican girl. She helped me realize that I love all the Hispanic cultures and that they are all so similar but so different at the same time. (El Salvadoran horchata is superior though)
I downloaded the file and then learned how to upload it to my google drive so that i could then upload it in to my site.
This audio is "Mexican Mariachi Shout 7" by applehillstudios, from Envato Elements - Mexican Mariachi Shout 7, Royalty-Free Human Track - Envato. I downloaded it from Envato Elements under its commercial license. This work is not licensed under creative commons, I am still crediting the creator and linking the original source.

This is a video of the volcanic activity in San Miguel El Salvador. I found it interesting that I came across this because one of my friends actually has a house in San Miguel. I really hope to visit one day!
I actually learned a lot during this lesson. I learned all about creative commons, what it was, and how to accurately credit a source. I also learned a little about how to use google drive and sites. I had no idea that you had to download something like an audio file or video and save it to your drive, then allow people to view it and then finally be able to upload it to your site. I just kind of thought it was like an image. I was definitely proven wrong haha!
