Unit 5 Terms & Definitions

Emerging technologies- new innovations that are being developed now or are expected to become common in 5-10 years.  

Digital Divide- The gap on access to technology and the internet between those who have it and those who don’t. 

What did you learn about researching and presenting information by completing the two projects in this unit? I learned from both my emerging technology project and my research that digital divide is always a big factor and issue that is only going to get worse as we increase the use of technology and the era that we live in where having access to technology and internet is necessary.
