Unit 3 terms & Definitions

• Ethics is a branch of philosophy that deals with issues of morality, that is, considering which human actions and reactions are morally right and wrong. 

• Morality is a set of principles concerning the distinction between right and wrong, or good and bad behavior. 

• Copyright is the exclusive legal right given to the original creator of a work to print, publish, perform, film, or record their original content and to authorize others to do the same. 

• Plagiarism is using someone else's work or ideas without giving proper credit. If you do not provide credit to the work's original creator, then you are presenting the work as your own.

• AUP- Set of guidelines that outline acceptable behaviors and practices for users when accessing an organization digital resource. 

• Accessibility- Regardless of their abilities or disabilities, they will be able to have control of what they want to create.  

• Creative Commons is an international non-profit organization that provides free licenses for creators to use when making their work available to the public. 

• What are the 5 media types related to digital/multimedia. The different types of media are text, audio, video, image, and animation. All these media are used and combined to create content that has purpose in that so the audience can engage with to help them understand something more.
