Hackers target Workday in social engineering attack | Cybersecurity Dive
The article shares that hackers were able to get access their information by using one their third-party's vendors. The hackers were impersonating IT and human-resources personnel to trick employees into giving personal and sensitive information about themselves and their account credentials. This could've been prevented if the people made sure with their supervisor that it was actually the IT people or the human resource personnel as this company is multi-million-dollar company that many people provide private information about.

Hackers Attack Jaguar Land Rover leaving $1 Billion Dollars in Damages.
In the article it shares with us that the hackers were able to disguise themselves as employees to get other employees login which created production delays, and disrupted supply chain. This is a common method known as phishing, and this could've been prevented with having the JLR employees double checking to make sure it was other actual employees, but this resulted in jobs loss and over $1 billion dollars in damages to the UK economy.

Lesson Learned
I didn't know that finding different security,cyber security attacks were so common to find, and the fact that they can do so much in damage is crazy, like over a billion dollars.
