A strange combination of injectors and software installed onto the person using it, the Chrome Compressor allows someone suffering from Overchrome Syndrome (OCS) to offset the mental effects it causes.
It works by suppressing the norepinephrine in the brain, and alongside propriety technology, numbs some of the effects of OCS. However it is fragile, and one wrong punch or fall will lead to it's self-destruction. Once disabled or removed, the user immediate succumbs to the horrors of Overchrome; and rapidly advances into the end-stages of the disease.

[-] If the suppressor is damaged, deactivated or removed in any significant way (namely, being forcefully removed) the user will immediately succumb to the effects of Overchrome (instant bridge breaking or fast forwarding to Tier 3), leading to hyper-aggression and psychosis.
