CWSP

Virtual CWSP Expectations

  • Similar to academics days, you will receive an email from your Client Relations Manager (CRM) by 10am on your workday. This email will outline your expectations and assignments. Assignments should be completed ON YOUR WORKDAY, and are due by 11:59 P.M. the same day. All assigned work is required. You will not receive a grade for CWSP if work is not submitted.

  • You will earn a grade for the completion and quality of your work. Instructions and rubrics will be provided for each assignment. We will continue to update PowerSchool to reflect your progress in CWSP. Remember: To advance your CWSP grade, you are accountable for turning in work. Attendance will be taken each day by monitoring your progress on your CWSP assignments. To earn credit for CWSP, you MUST complete CWSP assignments by 11:59 P.M. on your workday.

IMPORTANT: All students are expected to remain EMPLOYABLE while enrolled at Cristo Rey.

You are employable when you:

  • Check-in each workday

  • Fully complete the professional development assigned to you by your CRM

  • Submit work that has been edited for grammar, punctuation and professionalism

    • Your CRM may ask you to resubmit work that does not meet expectations, or is unprofessional

  • Follow the rules and expectations of a Cristo Rey student. This includes demonstrating academic honesty

While we operate remote learning, you should NOT

  • Report to your CWSP jobsite on your regular workday. This includes traveling to your worksite to complete makeup days or to work for pay

  • Email or call your supervisor or co-workers unless instructed to by your CRM or Ms. Kolbow

  • Complete a daily timecard (complete all outstanding/missing timecards).

***NOTE: If you owe a makeup day, or have one scheduled, your CRM will be in touch with you to discuss how you complete your "Virtual Makeup Day"

How is my progress in CWSP assessed?

  • You will be given a grade for the completion and quality of your work. We will continue to update PowerSchool to reflect your progress in CWSP. Remember: To advance your CWSP grade, you are accountable for turning in work. Attendance will be taken each day by monitoring your progress on your CWSP assignments.

Professional Tips

  • Use your CRM as your primary resource to answer questions. Think of them as your "Virtual Supervisor". You are welcomed to send emails and call to discuss assignments and to find solutions to challenges or questions.

  • Currently, you are not expected to complete work for your company/organization. This is subject to change. If your supervisor reaches out to you, please contact CWSP.

  • Similar to academic work, CWSP assignments are internet based. If you struggle to complete assignments, please contact your CRM so we can provide you with a solution.

If you want to send a message to your CWSP supervisor, please contact your CRM. If you are unsure who your CRM is, click here to see a list of companies assigned CWSP staff.

Transportation

The purpose of operating distance learning is to protect your health and wellness. We want you and your family to be safe. Bus cards will be monitored by our Transportation Manager, and should not be used until school resumes. If bus cards are misused, a student may lose privilages to participate in our bus card program.

NOTE: if you need to come to school to pick up materials or food, please contact Mr. Torres to discuss your transportation plan.
