Artículo 1. Se suspende, hasta el 15 de enero del año 2006, el cobro del impuesto al consumo contemplado en el artículo 1057-G del Código Fiscal, referente al diésel liviano para el uso del transporte público colectivo.

Artículo 2. El Órgano Ejecutivo, a través del Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas, establecerá las medidas reglamentarias para la debida fiscalización de la suspensión establecida en el artículo anterior, para que se dirija de manera exclusiva al sector de transporte público colectivo, a fin de evitar aumentos en sus costos de operación y que estos se traduzcan en un posible aumento del pasaje.

Article 1. The collection of the consumption tax contemplated in article 1057-G of the Tax Code, referring to light diesel for the use of collective public transportation, is suspended until January 15, 2006.

Article 2. The Executive Body, through the Ministry of Economy and Finance, will establish the regulatory measures for the due supervision of the suspension established in the previous article, so that it is directed exclusively to the collective public transportation sector, in order to avoid increases in operating costs that translate into a possible increase in fares.
