Used by Axia in products with a strong aesthetic impact look, this series produced in 80 min falls in a monotony of colors and shapes that no deserves no comment.

Doesn't look like a blank of 2002 but a blank product 5 years before

Produced in large quantities, the SX comes with 74 and 80 min, translucent shell, plastic shutter.

The cases occurs for the first time in Maxell in soft plastic, open book.

Sony 10th anniversary

Produced for the 10 anniversary of the birth of MD, Sony starts to put the word "collector" on blank; Obviously the aesthetic enhancement of the blank must have already begun the early phenomena of collectibles.

As the base is a Sony Neige readapted to the 10th Anniversary.

Sony could and should do more.

Maxell Happy Music

A new model released in 74 and 80 min, younger than SX; blank blue, shutter in plastic.

The same shutter you can found on Miffy, Couleur 1° series, Burari.....

Axia Slimcase 3° series

Available in 74 or 80 minutes.

The only difference in this series from above is small Axia logo in white to the upper-left corner placed in a different location.

Sony Neige 2° series

Second Edition of Neige, apart from the location of the inscription Neige no change.

A simple blank born perfect.

Same case and label of 1° series.

Maxell Miffy Collection

A product directed to women and collectibles; 10 blank with different images of each other, shell trasparemte, color of the disk the same as the previous series of Twinkle, plastic shutter.

Each label has a pattern identical to that on the blank

Not easy to find.

Sony Prism 4° series

Continuing the production of the series Prism with some modification of the pattern on the shell.

In my opinion, does not belong to the category of aesthetically better managed mds.

Available in 60, 74, 80 min.

Maxell twinkle 3°series

New series Twinkle, available in 74 and 80 min, even seven different blanks between them.

Front transparent shell that allows you to see the underlying disk colored.

Also distributed in Europe to replace the now outdated colors series.

The cases are rigid plastic "fume" with slider.

Sony Color Collection 6° series

This series has been released in Europe; it leaves blank color purple back to replace it with the color orange.

The shutter in silver colour recalls the silver frame that surrounds the blank, which gives an aspect metallic and solid at all.

The case returned to hard plastic with black rear wall.

Maxell Couler 1° series

Series of five colors, available in 74 and 80 minutes.

Looking for a different look than the past, always present the plastic shutter.

The cases are made of soft plastic.

Victor AR 1° series

Victor presents a series of 5 pieces available in 74 and 80 min; colored rear shell with a large symmetrical dots which gives a good look at the blank.

The cases close completely to prevent dust infiltration. Awkward but safe.

Axia IMb

Last series IM, produced in five colors and 80 minutes duration, intense colours, new

pattern on the shell with glitter, beautiful designs on the shutter.

Classic cases not differentiated.

Sony Bianca 1° series

To counter the sharp increase of multicolor series produced by Axia, Maxell, TDK, ect, Sony decides to abandon a certain stillness in the mass production of minidisc away from Color Collection series; in production for too

many years and research with this series a more informal look reminiscent of the Basic Series 1 and the Neige 1° series.

The case is in soft plastic.

Despite the Fuji produce through Axia, felt the need to produce a series of "color" with a "serious" look.
