VR Expert

The goal of the internship: He manages the Unity digital twin. Anything from 3D modelling and VR to Unity-Ros communication and experiment recording.


Short Bio: Jesper took an early interest in technology and video games and studied game development at LBS Borås between 2016 and 2019. Wanting to delve more into engineering Jesper continued his education at Chalmers University of Technology and studied Automation and Mechatronics for 3 years. Jesper's main hobbies include playing video games, exercising, and playing Dungeons and Dragons.

Himanshu Sahni

Research Intern

The goal of the internship: To develop a localization and mapping system to allow the TIAGo robot to identify its current location in the office. Implement an off-the-shelf Perception system to detect information from the environments, for example, detect people, doors, shelves, etc.


Short Bio: He is pursuing a master's in Complex adaptive systems since he has always been an enthusiast for robotics and artificial intelligence. He has 2 years of work experience as a Robotics Software Engineer at Jetbrain Robotics, India, where he worked in developing and implementing sensor fusion, SLAM, and online motion planning algorithms for autonomous wheeled mobile robots. He has a broad understanding of various aspects involved in developing autonomous systems and has experience working with different libraries and frameworks. Currently, he is focused on developing the localization and perception algorithms for the Tiago robot and also managing and maintaining some resources in the lab.

The goal of the internship: His work consists of checking definitions of established predicates, finding their limits and then improving them and creating new ones.


Short Bio: He is a French student from the Seatech engineering school in the south of France in Toulon.  He likes to work on anything related to the marine environment or new technologies. He came to Chalmers to discover the world of 3D simulation.
