I "Soiled" Myself
A VR gardening game where a person can experience having a garden of their own without the hassle of real bugs, dirt or the burning sun. Having a game that reflects the realistic aspect of gardening will allow users, who might not have the ability to garden in real life, to emerge themselves in a virtual garden to either learn or relax. The game will run in real world game time where plants will grow over time time but the user doesn't have to wait months for the plant to grow.
This project will be using the unity game engine along with the VRTK 4 open source. Users will need a virtual reality headset such as a Vive.
A virtual garden where a user can:
We will be using video game real time, which will affect the growing/wilting/death of plants and compost
The grass will make the game more realistic as then if a person wants to, they unearth more places to plant plants, or stick to the pre-turned areas.
We will also allow a person to pause and save their progress.
