Sometimes your body holds onto stress, old injuries, or emotional shock in ways you can’t shift on your own. You may notice discomfort, tightness, or reduced energy in places far from the original cause.
Contact CARE sessions provide gentle, hands-on support to help your body release what it no longer needs.
You remain fully clothed, move as you need, and choose positions that are comfortable for you. Together we explore what may be contributing to your experience, allowing space for your body to unwind, rebalance, and function more freely.

I have been seeing Margaret for a few months. The first time I attended I couldn't believe what she discovered and the way my body acted to her touch.
She is a very talented women with a gifted hands. I have found her nothing but caring, understanding and supportive along with having many laughs, through this journey.
- Danielle, post-op with CRPS
Today is the first day in a month that I have experienced no back pain at all. I couldn't at first recognise what was different, but then it dawned on me that I had no pain with movement!
I have received treatments from Margaret for a couple of years for various complaints and I have always found it very beneficial and relaxing.

Here you'll find answers to common questions I get asked by clients.
How many sessions will I need?
Everyone’s situation is different. Some people experience meaningful change after a single session, particularly if the issue is recent or straightforward.
For more complex or longer-standing patterns, it can take a few sessions to allow the body to settle, respond and integrate changes. Many people choose to begin with between 1–4 sessions and then reassess.
Sessions are always guided by your comfort and responses, and we’ll regularly check in about how you’re feeling and what feels most appropriate for you.
How often do I need to come back?
Session frequency is flexible and designed to work for you. In some situations, I may suggest waiting three to four weeks between sessions to allow your body time to integrate changes. More commonly, people choose to book sessions anywhere from weekly to monthly, depending on their needs and availability.
Clients who live further afield, or who return less frequently — sometimes every 4 to 12 months — often still notice ongoing benefits and find their body continues to settle and adapt over time.
Do I have to stay still during the session?
Absolutely not. You’re encouraged to move in whatever way feels right for you during a session.
I work with animals as well as people, so I’m used to bodies doing what they need to do, when they need to do it. Movement, shifts in position, and pauses are all welcome.
If at any point you feel unsure or uncomfortable, you’re always welcome to share what you’re feeling, noticing, or questioning — verbally or through movement — so we can work together in a way that feels supportive for you.
What if I'm uncomfortable having parts of my body touched?
Thank you for letting me know — your comfort is what matters most, and it’s essential for the session to feel safe and supportive for you.
If there are any areas you’re uncomfortable with — whether due to sensitivity, pain, ticklishness, or emotional triggers — I’ll avoid them as soon as I’m aware. We work together to maintain comfort and support your body’s sense of ease throughout the session.
You’re welcome to share this information in advance, when we meet, or at any point during the session.
What if I don't like lying on my back?
That’s the beauty of Contact CARE — you don’t need to position yourself in any way that feels uncomfortable.
Clients often feel most at ease standing, lounging, kneeling, sitting, or even curling up on the table in their usual resting shape. Being in a position that feels comfortable actually helps me work more effectively, so your ease directly supports the session’s results.
Can I fall asleep while you work?
Absolutely — you’re very welcome to. Many clients naturally drift off for part or all of the session. Sleep can be a powerful way for your body to deeply reset, so feel free to allow it if it comes.
Can I talk during the session?
Definitely! If you feel like talking, let’s talk. Conversation doesn’t distract me from what I’m feeling. If there are moments where I need to focus, I’ll let you know so you can simply relax.
Can I listen to music while you work?
Yes! Bring your favourite music, or let me know beforehand and we can set it up so it’s ready for your session.
