Requesting Appointments

Request Appointment:

We are NOT a 24-hr crisis care center and are unable to schedule your first appointment same day if you are currently experiencing a crisis. If this is the case, please contact or go to your local Emergency Room.

CALL: call our office at 330-677-2000. PLEASE be patient with us as our response time may be slower than usual, due to limited office hours as we are continuing to be more cautious while COVID cases continue to rise.

E-MAIL: email us at admin@counselingforwellness.com requesting a call back to do a 'pre-intake' to discuss your reasons for seeking counseling. If you do not hear back from us within 5 business days, please contact us again as we might not have received your email. You can speed up the process by including the following information in an email: name, address, phone number, insurance carrier, availability for sessions, reasons for seeking services, past mental health counseling/medication/hospitalization, any requests for therapists).

STOP IN: (**THIS OPTION NOT RECOMMENDED AT THIS TIME DUE TO SHORTENED OFFICE HOURS, THERE MAY NOT BE SOMEONE TO SPEAK WITH. WE ALSO WILL NOT ENTER THE LOBBY IF WE ARE NOT EXPECTING A CLIENT DUE TO HEALTH SAFETY PROCEDURES**) You are welcome to stop in to Counseling for Wellness at any time to complete a 'pre-intake', we will then fit you with the best clinician and call you to schedule your first appointment. Your best chance to talk with someone would be during our administrative office hours which are typically covered from 9am-12pm, or 3-6pm (Monday through Friday). (*At this time, limited office hours are typically between 11am-5pm Tues, Wed, Thurs, and 11am-2pm Monday and Friday)
