In the world we live in today, we are surrounded by intelligent technology. In fact, most people today have intelligent technology in pocket for most of the day. Virtual assistants are one of the many forms of AI that are more prevalent in society and can be quite the helping hand. Being a form of AGI, virtual assistants pull information from large databases, using it to fill users in on things such as restaurant reviews, weather and even live scoring from sporting events.
With extensions to these assistants such as Google home, not only a phone but an entire living space can be turned into a hub that can provide users with assistance with maximum ease; these things eliminate having to keep a device on hand to access information, adding comfort to the mix. With even further development, AI may soon become wearable with advancements such as Google glass and one of Intel's most recent developments, though being cancelled early on: Vaunt, a streamline pair of glasses that reflects images and information into the eye such as directions or yelp reviews when looking at certain restaurants.
