TOURIST VISA TO CUBA

APPLICATION FOR TOURIST VISA TO CUBA AT THE CONSULATE:

A Tourist Visa (Tourist Card) is valid only for one entry and for a 90-day stay in Cuba, extendable in Cuba for another 90 days maximum. Children must also obtain their tourist card to enter Cuba, even when they are registered in their parent's passports. Once a tourist card has been issued it cannot be changed or refunded.

WHEN APPLYING YOU MUST SUBMIT:

• Foreign passport valid for at least six months, and a photocopy of the main page.

• Completed and signed application form (download it HERE).

• Flight Confirmation (inbound & outbound) and Accommodation details.

• Bank payment receipt.

Visa fee is 575.00 PMX in local currency (mexican pesos) per green tourist card. In the pink card case, visa fee is 1150.00 PMX.

If the application is by courier or on behalf of another person:

Visa fee is 1150.00 PMX in local currency (mexican pesos) per green tourist card. In the pink card case, visa fee is 2300.00 PMX.

Tourist Cards will be issued the same day.

• Cash deposit through ATM or teller window at the BBVA BANCOMER bank to EMBAJADA DE LA REPÚBLICA DE CUBA, CONSULADO EN CIUDAD DE MÉXICO, account number 0106769039.

• Cash transfer to EMBAJADA DE LA REPÚBLICA DE CUBA, CONSULADO EN CIUDAD DE MÉXICO, account number 0106769039. Please note that transfers between different bank accounts may take up to two days to confirm.

WHAT TYPE OF TOURIST CARD DO I NEED TO TRAVEL TO CUBA?

Green tourist card: They are issued to foreigners (non-US citizens) who travel to Cuba as tourists from destinations other than the United States or Puerto Rico.

Pink tourist card: They are issued to foreigners (non-US citizens) who travel to Cuba as tourists from territories of the United States of America, including Puerto Rico, and to US citizens who travel to Cuba, regardless of the country of origin or transit.
