 Dual cuttings dryer installation

When using oil-based mud (OBM) for drilling an oil and gas well section, obviously, the drilled cuttings return to the surface oil-wet. To be able to minimize the drilling fluid loss and environmental impact of the cuttings disposal, a device called a cuttings dryer is used to serve this purpose.

As with any critical system, redundancy is the key to uninterrupted operation so a dual dryer system had been considered.
