Transportation

Subway: DC's subway system is called the Metro. The hotel is located three blocks from the Ballston Metro stop. This stop is on the Orange and Silver lines. You can call the hotel for shuttle pickup or walk by heading west on Fairfax Dr., crossing N. Stuart St. and N. Taylor St. If you cross N. Stafford St., you're heading in the wrong direction.

Airports: If you are coming from National Airport, you can take a cab or you can take the Metro Blue line to Rosslyn station and transfer to either the Orange Line (towards Vienna) or the Silver Line (towards Tysons) to get to Ballston.

If you are flying in to Dulles, Ballston is approximately 21 miles from the airport. The least expensive way to get to the hotel from there would be to take the Washington Flyer Bus to the Metro stop on the Silver Line and then metro in to Ballston.

If you are flying in to Thurgood Marshall BWI (about fifty miles from the hotel), you can take the B30 Bus to the Greenbelt Metro Station, then the Green line to the Orange/Silver line, or a shuttle to the BWI Rail Station, and then the train to Union Station. (This trip will take a couple of hours, but is inexpensive compared to a shuttle van or taxi.)

Train: If you are coming from Union Station, take the Metro Red Line to Metro Center and transfer to either the Orange Line (towards Vienna) or the Silver Line (towards Tysons) to get to Ballston. From the metro stop, you can either walk to the hotel or call for the shuttle service.
