Performing NSLookUp

Step 1: Open CMD on server, type ipconfig. Once ip configuration shows type nslookup on server. Type the IP address of the server

Step 2: Open CMD on Windows 10, type ipconfig. Once ip configuration shows

type nslookup on server.

Step 3: If you encounter berlin.com can‟t find 192.168.20.14. do the troubleshooting.

Step 3: Open Server Manager, right click on Server, select DNS Manager.

Step 4: Expand Forward Lookup Zones, expand Domain.

Step 5: Right click on Client, then properties, uncheck the update associated pointer (PTR) record, click apply then ok.

Step 6: Right click on Client again, then properties, check the update associated pointer (PTR) record, click apply then ok. Then perform NSLOOKUP.
