Creating and Configuring Folder Redirection

Step 1: Open File Explorer, double click your “Local Drive C:”, then create a folder and name it with “REDIRECTION”. 

Step 2: Right click “REDIRECTION FOLDER” then properties.

Step 3: On Redirection properties, click “SHARING TAB”.

Step 4: Click Advance Sharing..

Step 5: Check the Share this folder .

Step 6: Click “Permission”.

Step 7: Remove “Everyone”.

Step 8: Click “ADD”.

Step 9: Type AU, click Check Names until Authenticated Users appear, then click OK

Step 10: On Permissions for Authenticated Users, check all the checkbox in ALLOW Column.

Step 11: Click OK.

Step 12: Click SECURITY TAB. Click EDIT.

Step 13: Click “Add”.

Step 14: Type AU, then click Checked Names.

Step 15: Select Authenticated Users, then check all the checkbox under “ALLOW” in “Permissions for Authenticated Users”. Click Apply, OK.

Step 16: Copy the Network Path. Save it for later use. Click CLOSE.
