Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol Server Configuration (DHCP)
Step 1: Open your Server Manager, click the flag with this icon then click
“Complete DHCP Configuration.”
Step 2: Click Next.
Step 3: Click “Commit”.
Step 4: Click Close.
Step 5: Click DHCP.
Step 6: Right click on Server, click DHCP Manager.
Step 7: Expand your Server.berlin.com, right click on IPV4 then click “New Scope”.
Step 8: New Scope Wizard will appear, click Next.
Step 9: Type Scope Name. Ex. pogz. Make sure that it is not the same as your domain name. Do not put anything under Description. Click Next.
Step 10: Set the “Start and End of your IP Address”. Ex. Start:192.168.20.10 End: 192.168.20.20. Make sure that there is no same IP Address in the entire configuration including your Server IP address and Default Gateway.
Step 11: Click Next..
Step 12: Select “Yes, I want to configure this options now” then click Next.
Step 13: Type your “Default Gateway”. Click Add then click Next.
Step 14: Click Next.
Step 15: Click Next..
Step 16: Select “Yes, I want to activate the scope now”, then click Next.
Step 17: Click Finish.
Step 18: Go to your LAN adapter, properties, IPV4 properties, then change the existing DNS Server IP Address to your Server ID Address .
