Step 1: Open Server Manager.
Step 2: Click TOOLS, Select Group Policy Management.
Step 3: Expand Forest, Domains and Domain Name ex berlin.com.
Step 4: Click Admin_Department folder.
Step 5: Click Delegation Tab, Click Advance.
Step 6: Select Authenticated Users then click “ADD”. Under Full Control, Allow, check all the checkbox on ALLOW. Click OK.
Step 7: Right Click on Admin_Department, Select Create GPO.
Step 8: Type the GPO Name. ex. GP01_Admin.
Step 9: Click GPO1_Admin, Click Delegation TAB, Select Authenticated Users
Then click ADVANCE .
Step 10: Select Authenticated Users, then check all the checkbox on Allow. Then click OK.
Step 11: Click GPO1_Admin, check Enforced then click Edit.
Step 12: Expand User Configuration, expand Policies.
Step 13: Expand Windows Settings, expand Folder Redirection.
Step 14: Right click on Desktop Folder, then properties.
Step 15: On Target, setting, click the drop-down menu then choose Basic Redirection. On
Root Path paste the network path you get from redirected folder on drive C:
Step 16: On Settings Tab, uncheck all the checks boxes. Click Apply then click Ok
Step 17: Click Yes, then click Ok. Do the same process on Documents below
Desktop Folder.
Step 18: Click IT_Department folder, click Delegation Tab, Click
Step 19: Select Authenticated Users, check all the checkboxes on Allow. Click Ok.
Step 20: Click Create a Group Policy Object (GPO),
Step 21: Type the GPO name. Ex. GPO2_IT.
Step 22: Click GPO2_IT, click Delegation Tab, Select Authenticated Users,
Click Advance.
Step 23: Select Authenticated Users, check all the checkboxes under Permissions For Authenticated Users. Click Ok once done.
Step 24: On GPO2_IT, check Enforced, click Edit.
Step 25: On User Configuration, expand Policies, expand Windows Settings, expand Folder Redirection.
Step 26: Right click on Desktop folder, properties then Desktop properties appear. Click Target, setting select Basic Redirection. Paste the network path on root path.
Step 27: On Setting Tab, uncheck all the check boxes. Click Ok.
