Install and Configure ADDS

Step 1: Open your Server Manager, click the flag with this icon  then click promote this server domain controller.

Step 2: Select “Add a new forest” then type the name of the new forest.

Ex. berlin.com. Once done click Next. Note: Always put .com at the end of each Name your set for your new forest.

Step 3: Set password. Make sure to use password that contains capital letters, small letters, numbers and minimum of 8 characters. 

Ex. Admin123

Step 4: Under DNS options, click Next.

Step 5: Wait until it finish verifying the NetBIOS name assigned to the domain. Once Verified click Next.

Step 6: Click Next.

Step 7: Click Next.

Step 8: Click Install. Wait until it finish installing all the configuration you made.
