The Science of it all
Black Holes are formed by the death of a star. When the core of a star collapses the resulting clump of matter becomes so dense and so strong that light cannot enter or exit from it. This is why Black Roles appear invisible . The only visible indication of a black hole is the accretion disc of gas, and dust with the intense gravitational pull resulting in the emission of light due to the high energy radiation the black hole releases. The gravitational pull of black holes are so immense that they are often found at the centers of Galaxies as all the surrounding matter orbits around it. Other common phenomena include the development of particle jets which release particles at near light speed.

I turn back to see, I can’t even look at it

As they watch me slow, into nothingness
I see our distant systems far away
An orbit so large they are here to stay
There’s red, orange, blue
They get to survive I become a victim too
Taken in by an unseen threat
Is this what I deserve, is this what I get?

One thing I hope you notice is that there is a lot that remains unexplained about cosmic phenomena.
