Project E2: Community Extension on Entrepreneurship

The Third Year students from the Association of Junior Hospitality and Tourism Operators of the College of Business Education conductedted a Virtual Event Entitled “COBE’s Community E – xtension on E – ntreprenuership” as one of the major requirement’s in their subject Introduction to Meetings, Incentives, Conference and Exhibition. The Event was held via ZOOM Conference on July 6, 2021. It was the the discussion together with our great speakers to share their impeccable knowledge on how to be an Entrepreneur and how we can start into our business, the other students and colleges has been actively participated during the said events. The Over all Chair MICE and event Management Mr. Mark Dio Palcon formally welcome the Guest Speakers, professor together with the active participants in the said event. Prof. Jocelyn Evangelista uttered her inspirational message for everyone.

In the First Speaker, Dr, Errol E. Valdez a College instructor at Mariano Marcos State University discussed to us the topic “Introduction to Entrepreneurship”, which give us a broad ideas about of being an entrepreneur, the pros and cons, as well as the benefits of being an entrprenuer.

Prof Noel Aban President ENEDA deliberated the topic “Idea Generation” which emphasized the evolution of the Idea Generation to generation, Ideas are the key to innovation. Without them, there isn't much to execute and because execution is the key to learning, new ideas are necessary for making any kind of improvement. It's obvious that ideas alone won't make innovation happen, as you need to be able to build a systematic process for managing those ideas. The point of ideation isn't just about generating tons of them but about paying attention to the quality of those as well.

Prof Edgar Barrameda Chairperson Department of Entrepreneurship conferred “Basic of Business Plan” Business planning and analysis has many benefits. Business plans not only state how a company will go about attaining a certain level of success, but it also aids in planning for unexpected events, such as downturns in the market and/or unforeseen competitors entering the industry. Business planning and analysis allow company executives to make informed decisions based on the stated purpose of the business. This will keep the company in line with the goals that were originally intended for the business.

Dr. Eric S. Parilla Dean of College of Business Education Northwestern University discoursed “Pannao magsimula ng Pagnenegosyo” with his discussion he opened the vision of being an business minded of the participants as well as in giving an opportunity to start their new business even how small or big it is.

With the four Speakers, they leave the virtual conference with full of hope and knowledge that we can get to them specifically in the fields of an Entrepreneur. Mr. Ancher Anthony Cua IV the adviser of the Third Year Students were closed the program with full of overwhelming success of the said event.

Therefore, the College of Business Education, as well as the other participants during the Project E2 event shows how were very attentive to the topic and most of all their willingness to learn in the different kind of topic that is being interested to them. In line of it they showed the capability and ability of their best to be more knowledgeable in their chosen fields. Fiat lux
