Jenny is a proud graduate of BS. Home Economics from the University of the Philippines Diliman. She received her Associate's Degree in Hotel and Tourism Management from Southville Foreign University and IHMES international Hotel School in the UK. She currently works as a lecturer and the Director for the Center for Business Development and External Affairs at Northwestern University.
If one takes a closer look at the alchemy of the achieving person, two distinct virtues pop up. Besides, perseverance and hard work, these are pioneering spirit and willingness. Coupled with an impressive background, it was not therefore surprising that she became the hospitality industry practitioner, an educator a travelpreneur/entrepreneur. She had become the person she is now because of the virtues and values that were developed and nurtured in her during her education in Tourism and Hospitality Technology, Master’s in Business Administration and her Doctor of Philosophy major in Development Management notch at the Divine Word College of Laoag. Her engagement in the following discipline cultured her skills and knowledge as Hotelier, being the seasonal Operations Manager, General/Hotel Manager as well in the Sales and Marketing world, soon she acquired the Certified Guest Service Professional. She was also a member of professional organizations such as AAHRMEI, COHREP and UFTE. She is also a DOT Accredited Tour-guide for RO1 since 2013, Regional Quality Assurance Team (RQAT) Member (ROI), TravelPreneur/Entrepreneur since 2011, an experienced Resource Speaker and Lecturer and Academic, Tourism & Hospitality Consultant.
Nat graduated at Nothwestern University with a Degree of Bachelor of Science in Tourism. Year 2018, He trained at Flight School PTC-MilCom Paranaque City as Flight Attendant. He became a fulltime faculty member in Divine Word College of Vigan, Ilocos Sur under the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management and at the same time a fulltime Adviser of Senior High School TVL Strand and Junior High School subject teacher. After one school year, He moved at Northwestern University year 2019. He is a fulltime faculty member of College of Business Education. While he’s teaching, He enrolled to get his Professional Education Unit at the same University. As a tourism instructor of the university, He finished different competencies- Front Office Services NCII, Bread and Pastry Production NCII and Trainers Methodology Level 1 at MAIS-TESDA, Marcos, Ilocos Norte.
Imee is currently the Head of the Hospitality and Tourism Management Department. She is a true champion in the institution as shown by her tireless commitment to Northwestern University for over 20 years. She graduated from Northwestern University with a degree Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management with flying colors. She pursued her graduate studies at the same institution taking up a Master of Business Administration. Her academic and professional growth did not end there because she decided to enroll a in Master in Science in Hospitality Management at Saint Paul University Philippines (Main Campus) in Tuguegarao City. Her industry immersion at Baiyoke Group of Hotels in Bangkok, Thailand, helped her to become more effective in teaching. Her extensive teaching experience, knowledge, and skills with expertise in Housekeeping make her prouder as she passed the National Certificate II and III in Housekeeping. Moreover, great professors are defined in terms of the quality of research they’ve done, that’s why she keeps on attending webinars related to research because she believes that somehow SHE WILL and SHE CAN! She is thrilled about this opportunity and she looks forward to producing a better study.
Paul, a graduate of the SKD Culinary School. Currently handles culinary arts classes, where he teaches Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant, and Culinary students the proper techniques to prepare food as well as skills on how to use kitchen equipment and a variety of recipes. With profound culinary training in Kuan Tan, Malaysia, he has strong technical skills in Asian cuisine, sauces, and pastries. He is also a regular faculty at the Senior High School Department of the University.
Ancher Anthony Cua is currently Northwestern University’s Marketing Officer and Assistant Professor under the College of Business Education’s Hospitality and Tourism Management Department. As a bachelor’s degree holder in Business Administration major in Tourism Management, he finished his Master in Business Administration degree at the said university in the year 2020. Prior to this, he has been involved in the Commission on Higher Education’s - Instruction, Research and Sectorial Engagement in partnership with the Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte – Tourism Office, acquiring advanced knowledge and experience in tour guiding, tourism development and events management. At present, He is an active mentor on various fields such as personality development, career guidance, leadership, tourism and hospitality management, public speaking and business administration more notably as On-The-Job (OJT) Training lecturer at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences - Shinas, Sultanate of Oman (Middle East).
Marco is the head of the culinary arts department in the College of Business Education. He is a graduate of San Beda University with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Commerce major in management and at the Center for Culinary Arts Manila where he finished his culinary arts training. He has been in hospitality for more than 20 years and his experience is an asset to the college. He does restaurant consultancy work in and out of the province. He was the former president of the Bakers Restaurant Association of Ilocos Norte which is an NGO responsible for promoting Ilocano cuisine. He has been in the academe for 11 years training future chefs to be able to cook in the best kitchens in the world.
Glory Domingo is an alumna of Northwestern University both on her undergraduate and graduate studies. She finished her Master in Business Administration last 2018. She is a holder of National Certificates level II in Food and Beverage Services and Bread and Pastry Production. She grows professionally by joining prestigious organizations like the Association of Administrators in Hospitality Hotel and Restaurant Management Educational Institutions (AAHRMEI) and the Philippine Association of Researchers and Statistical Software Users (PARSSU).
Aida is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition and she is a licensed nutritionist dietitian. She is a holder of Housekeeping NCII and NC III, Food and Beverage NC II, Bread and Pastry Production NC II. She was able to produce manual in principles of hygiene, sanitation and safety and modules in housekeeping and bread and pastry production.
Ronel is currently the instructor for Bar Service Management. He is a dedicated trainer who likes to share his knowledge and expertise he earned from the hotel and restaurant industry for almost 20 years. Being a former Beverage Manager, Restaurant Manager, and Hotel Supervisor, he has the passion to train young guns who want to pursue such career especially nowadays that tourism industry is growing. He likes to help the community in his own little way by molding interested individuals in the field of bartending.
Kristine is a faculty of the Hospitality and Tourism Management Department. She graduated at Northwestern University with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management, currently pursuing her Master’s Degree. She is very loyal and she loves her profession as manifested in her 14 years of service at Northwestern University. She is also a holder of National Certificates level II and level III in Housekeeping, and level II in Food and Beverage Services and Bread and Pastry Production respectively. Tine, as her friends fondly called her, is a member of respected organizations like the Association of Administrators in Hospitality Hotel and Restaurant Management Educational Institutions (AAHRMEI) and the Philippine Association of Researchers and Statistical Software Users (PARSSU). Also, she is actively joining seminars/webinars, research and willing to experience immersions for her to grow more professionally. Grateful to serve, impart knowledge, skills and continue to mold students in the field of hospitality industry especially in Catering Industry.
Louie is one of the faculty of the Hospitality and Tourism Management Department under the College of Business Education. She is a graduate of BSBA major in Tourism Management at the Mariano Marcos State University and obtained her Master in Business Administration degree at Northwestern University. She’s been teaching at Northwestern University for 16 years now with specialization in Tourism studies. Aside from the academe, she is also currently connected to the Department of Tourism as Accredited Tour Guide and a National Trainer in Tour Guiding and Filipino Brand of Service.
She is a holder of National Certificate II in Tourism Promotions, Front Office Services and Housekeeping and National Certificate III in Events Management. Currently, she is affiliated to some Professional organizations such as Ilocos Norte Tour Guides League; Tour Guide Federation of the Philippines, Philippine Association of Accredited Tour Guides Lecturer, Union of Filipino Tourism Educators (UFTE), and Association of Administrators in Hospitality Hotel and Restaurant Management Educational Institution (AAHRMEI)
