This came out ok, but I'm not all that impressed with the quality. I recorded four bands that day, and NOFX was the only set I recorded without a windscreen. Listening back to the other sets, I don't think it would've helped much. The NOFX set sounds more clear, but is largely affected by breezes, thus creating phasing issues. I'm thinking about making a mono version for myself. The other sets were also affected by breezes, though maybe less so... Anyway, what a great set. I recorded from just outside of the pit, maybe 20-30 feet in front of the soundboard. Of course, it wouldn't be one of my recordings without some stupid blemish, but this was my fault. I knew my ride was waiting to leave, and our other friend was getting concerned that we might get left there. So, I headed to the merch booth at the end of "Bottles..." to meet up with my friend, give him a couple of bucks toward a poster, and have him hold the recorder while I hit the port-a-potty. I tried to adjust the volume to smooth it out a little, but I think I just made the end of the show louder than the rest of it - meh. It's tolerable. I hate to say it, but NOFX is a lot better when Fatty's not hammered. I also recorded TSOL, facetoface, and the Descendents, and I'll work on uploading them over the next few days. I would've done it on Sunday, but I came down with something (not covid), and my head was in too much of a fog to do anything right. As usual, I took a bunch of phone photos, and included the best of them.

Enjoy!
