What is a Field of Interest?
Fields of Interest (FOI) are clusters of programs that fit within a similar area. The intent of selecting a FOI is to help you choose a path based on your abilities, future goals, knowledge, and skills. It helps you narrow down your choices in order to begin developing an educational plan that leads to a degree or certification.

You have so many options to choose from, and it is important for you to explore those options so you can find out what appeals to you the most. That is one of the exciting parts about college and just because you are exploring does not mean you cannot graduate with a degree or certificate within a reasonable timeframe.
