Now that you’ve gathered information about the behavior, the student, and the classroom context, it’s time to put support strategies in place. This step focuses on choosing interventions that match the function of the behavior—why it’s happening—so that your response is both effective and meaningful. The goal isn’t just to stop the behavior, but to teach new skills and create a classroom environment where the student can succeed. Start small, stay consistent, and build from there.
