During my first year at Stony Brook University, I served as a staff writer at The Statesman, contributing to both the news and arts & culture sections. By fall 2023, I was promoted to Assistant Arts & Culture Editor and led the rebranding of the section until graduating in spring 2024.

I have written a variety of articles such as fine art features, campus news and TV reviews. I have gone on to conduct interviews with multiple musical artists, some of whom have achieved TikTok and Spotify stardom. Additionally, I have edited over 100 arts & culture articles in fall 2023 and spring 2024.
