According to Foxe's Book of Martyrs, the following people  met in the White Horse Inn, near King's College Cambridge, for discussions that played a key part in the early English Reformation. However, scholars have questioned whether they wee even all in England at the same time.

• William Tyndale: Bible translator

• Nicholas Ridley: Future Bishop and martyr

• Matthew Parker: Later Archbishop of Canterbury
