Why We Charge Fees
The club is volunteer-led, with coaches and helpers giving their time freely to support the local chess community. Fees collected go directly towards:
Hall hire and equipment storage (covered by session fees)
Operational costs such as insurance, safety training, and administration (covered by annual membership)
Coaching expenses to support the club and ensure we have experienced coaches available
These fees ensure the club remains safe, well-equipped, and properly supported for all members.
