Our Commitment
We want everyone at the club — children, parents, coaches, and volunteers — to enjoy a safe, friendly, and respectful environment. This Code of Conduct helps us all play our part in making that happen.
For Children and Young People
Children are expected to be kind, respectful, and supportive to everyone. They should listen to coaches and volunteers, play fairly, and follow the rules. Everyone should look after the club’s equipment and venue, and never bully, tease, or use bad language. If a child feels unhappy or unsafe, they should always tell an adult they trust.
For Parents and Guardians
Parents and guardians are asked to be positive role models and encourage fair play. They should support their child’s enjoyment rather than focusing on results or performance. Respect towards all coaches, volunteers, and other families is essential. Any concerns should be raised calmly and through the proper channels. Parents of children under 11 must remain at the venue during the session.
For Coaches and Volunteers
Coaches and volunteers are expected to lead by example, showing fairness and respect at all times. The safety, well-being, and enjoyment of children always come first. Volunteers must maintain professional boundaries and follow the club’s safeguarding, health, and safety procedures. All activities should be inclusive, enjoyable, and supportive for everyone involved.
Everyone’s Responsibility
We all share the responsibility of creating a positive and respectful club culture. Behaviour that causes harm, distress, or disruption may result in appropriate action being taken, including being asked to leave a session or, in serious cases, the club.
